Recruitment process is a process of identifying job vacancy, analyzing the job requirements, reviewing applications, screening, shortlisting and selecting the right candidate.

Here, the scenario how a candidate search for job in the same way recruiters also search for right candidate. Project manager will approach HR manager with a list of jobs required for a particular organization/project. 

  1. Job listing
  2. Review candidates applied for the job
  3. Shortlisting of candidates
  4. HR call to find your availability
  5. On the confirmation from you, HR will forward CV to project team
  6. Schedule technical interview if your profile is matching to JD.
  7. Technical interview
  8. Managerial interview
  9. HR level interview
  10. Sample offer
  11. Final offer
1. Job listing:

Job listing is a  job description, which contains  requirements of particular job, given by Project manager. Whole interview process depends on JD, hence it is very essential. Never attend interview without  knowing the JD.

2.Review candidates applied for the job:

HR manager will post JD on job portals like naukri, indeed, and linkedin etc. Candidates will apply for that job and hr won't go through all the candidates applied, on the basis of skillset hr select candidates.
So make sure your CV must match JD, customize your cv before you apply.

3. Shortlisting of candidates:
  • Customize and mention skillset that match job description. 
  • There is nothing wrong adding required skill even you don't know totally. 
  • Please avoid one CV for all jobs.

4. HR call to find your availability:
  • Mention your mobile number on top of your CV in every page, HR can easily contact you. 
  • Must pick call when HR calls you
  • HR will check the communication, and your contact is correct or not.
5. On the confirmation from you, HR will forward CV to project team:
  • Review projects done by you and check if JD is matching to skills that you mentioned.
  • They will give priority on the basis of your skillset and projects done by you.
6. Schedule technical interview if your profile is matching to Job description:

7. Technical interview:

In general, there will be three rounds in technical interview 
  1. Introduction
  2. Project explanation
  3. Technical questions

Introduction:

  • Start with your educational qualification and establish your skills.
  • Speak your achievements about latest versions.
  • Impress interviewer at introduction itself.
Project explanation:
  • You need to explain your projects might be your recent project
  • Interviewer will ask questions about your projects.
Technical questions:
  • Interviewer will check your knowledge by asking technical questions
  • These are not in your hand, it's okay! if not able to answer all.
8. Managerial interview:
  • Check your communication level and attitude
  • Some technical questions.
9. H.R level interview:
  • Salary negotiation
  • Friendly conversation
